Pickup and return options

At Ridee, we believe every trip should start and end smoothly. That's why our hosts offer a variety of pickup and return options to fit your schedule, convenience and comfort.

Pickup Options

When booking your car, you'll see available pickup methods offered by the host. Options may include:

• Host meet-up: The host meets you in person to hand over the keys. This usually happens at the host's preferred location or one you agree on together
• Home or office delivery: Some hosts can deliver the car right to your home, office, hotel, or other specified address for an added fee or as a free bonus
• Airport pickup: If you're flying in, choose a host who offers airport delivery. You'll get details about where to meet and what to expect upon arrival
• Self-service (key box or digital access): For a quick, contactless experience, your host may leave the car keys in a secure lockbox or enable digital key access

You'll find all available options clearly displayed during the booking process.

Return Options

Returning your Ridee vehicle is just as easy as pickup. Before your trip ends, you'll receive reminders and instructions in-app to guide you.

Here's how you can return the car:

• Return to same location: Most hosts prefer that you return the car to the pickup point
• Alternate drop-off: Some hosts allow returns to a nearby or mutually agreed location, perfect if you're ending your trip elsewhere
• Airport or hotel return: For convenience, coordinate with your host to drop the car off at a terminal, parking bay or reception area

Make sure to return the vehicle on time and in the same condition it was received.

Late Returns and Extensions

Running behind schedule? You can request to extend your trip directly in the Ridee app before your scheduled return time at a fee.

Hosts must approve extension requests, so send them as early as possible to avoid extra fees or penalties.

If you miss your return time without an approved extension, late fees may apply as outlined in our Trip Policies.

Pickup and Return Photos

Before pickup and after return, you'll be prompted to take a few photos of the car in-app.

These serve as a record of the vehicle's condition and help protect both you and your host.

Tips for a Smooth Handover

• Communicate with your host in advance to confirm location and timing
• Keep your driver's license handy during pickup
• Refuel or recharge the car to the same level before returning it
• Ensure you've removed all personal items
